E. Alfred Thomas, MD founded his solo practice in St. Jonhsbury
in 1970. In 1974,
Ted V.J. Houle joined him as a partner and the practice became
Ophthalmology Associates .
Paul M. Lindstrom, OD joined the practice in 1995 and Stephen Phipps, MD became
a member of the practice in 2000.
In 2002, Dr. Thomas retired
after a long and distinguished career and in the Spring of 2004 the practice became Eye Associates
of Northern New England.
Brian Mawhinney, OD joined the practice in the Fall
of 2004.
For over thirty years, Ophthalmology Associates
and now Eye Associates of Northern New England has been dedicated
to providing comprehensive and state of the art medical and surgical
eye care to the people of northern New England.
